Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Development Engineer at EnAcuity. The Software Development Engineer will collaborate with our development team to design, develop and optimize our product’s source code. As an early team member, you'll play a pivotal role in the development of EnAcuity’s first software as a medical device (SaMD) product.

Compensation and Benefits
Annual salary from £50,000 (for 1-3 yrs experience)

Responsibilities
Develop robust and efficient algorithms for real-time data analysis and image processing
Contribute to algorithm performance testing design and implementation
Implement SaMD design control process in alignment with IEC 62304's software lifecycle processes
Qualifications
Required:
Degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
Experience with real-time processing systems
Experience in AI/ML or statistics solutions
Preferred:
Experience in software development for medical devices/SaMD
Technical Competencies
Strong Python development skills
Real-time processing frameworks (OpenCV, CUDA)
GUI development (such as Qt)
Version control with Git
CI/CD with Docker
Networking protocols and architectures
Basic C++ knowledge
